You know those songs that your parents always played at specific times (in the car, while cooking dinner, etc.) that just stick with you? And then when you hear them as an adult you get a flood of nostalgia that is like nothing else? One of mine is The Chain by Fleetwood Mac. My mum always played it while she made a Sunday roast and when I hear it now I swear I can smell her food cooking!
Do you ever wonder what songs your kids will feel that way about when they're older?
Sometimes my DH deliberately puts a song on repeat because he loves it and wants it to become one of "those" songs for our kids when they're older
