To just block her??

I have a 2 year old DS with my ex. He has been with his partner for a year now and they have a baby together - we've never met or spoken to each other face to face.

Things are fairly civil between ex and I, but recently his girlfriend has been randomly messaging me - (via Facebook) - varying from accusing me of all sorts to just random words and emojis that make no sense. She has also tried to 'friend request' me a couple of times too.

I tried to talk to ex about it, to ask why she was doing it etc and he just didn't seem to care. As my DS and their baby are half siblings, I have tried a couple of times to be friendly/civil towards her but she has no interest in anything other than accusations.

I'm not getting anywhere with ex talking to her or making her stop - I'm not BU to just block her - right?

If this was anyone else would you think twice about blocking them?
That's the beauty of sm, you can block contact with people who annoy the shit out of you.

She sounds like a nutter. Just block.

How weird?! she sends random emojis? she sounds like she has MH issues. Yes I would block, why wouldnt you?

Aquamarine1029 · 16/01/2019 19:10

Of course you should block her. I don't think you should communicate in any way with her. She sounds unhinged.

turquoisetowels · 16/01/2019 19:36

Yep I totally get what you're all saying. Tbh she does sound unhinged. I honestly don't think she has MH issues, I think she's just a young girl who is extremely insecure and is taking it out on me - I don't think ex helps the situation at all, in fact I think he quite enjoys it.

When we were together he was always trying to play me and his mother against each other for no reason and I think he's doing the same now with her.

I just worry because she has access to DS through ex, who from what I understand, takes DS over to her house most weeks so he can 'see his brother' etc. I don't think they live together although he says her and the baby are round his quite often (he lives with his mum still) so I don't want things to get bad - even thought I've done absolutely nothing wrong!
