Where is the Birth certificate number

Does anyone know where a birth certificate number is located on a birth certificate?

At the top. Where it says “certificate number”.

If you want it for a child benefit application in England it’s the system number they want - mine was in small writing on the bottom left of the birth certificate.

So rude - my baby’s birth certificate doesn’t have a section saying certificate number. Very rude comment
