Chronic insomnia amongst other issues, plus I've missed out on the 2 hours I normally get a bit earlier in the night as I'm so worried about Ds.

Ah no, that's a shame re: co sleeping not helping. Tbh with mine the first 6 months or so/till my back was utterly knackered, they were velcroed to me pretty much all the time. What helped me feel a little hopeful was reminding myself of the MN mantra that 'this too shall pass'. Thanks

Poppylizzyrose · 16/01/2019 03:47

Just got 7 week old baby back to sleep in rocker, feeling guilty using a reclined rocker but then she sleeps four hours together. Blush hoping it isn’t awful for her spine and she grows up damaged googling it loads at different random times.

OutOntheTilez · 16/01/2019 03:47

I'm in New York.

FairyFuckDailyMail · 16/01/2019 03:48

I was studying for an exam. Writing Thursday morning and at the same time typed a 3am begging email to the Uni finance team to allow me back on the course whilst I’m scrambling together some money for Uni fees after being evicted also not that long ago.
My life is not stressful at all
Oh and top of it very much a night owl.

Pregnancy insomnia here....40+1 with dc2. So over this pregnancy now! I feel all your pain. Dc1 will be in about 1.5hrs to bounce all over me.

Blazeisamonster · 16/01/2019 03:58

Up with a sore throat, fever and feeling super cold so I’ve took paracetamol and put my dressing gown on... I’ve never had flu so bad in my life Sad

spiderplantsalad · 16/01/2019 04:02

Insomnia. I woke up about half two and that's it for the night.

BBInGinDrinking · 16/01/2019 04:05

A nocturnal DC, as usual, and we're also still suffering with something flu-like.

Sandsnake · 16/01/2019 04:22

Caught DS’ vomiting bug. Grim. MN is something to take my mind off it!

Nothingoriginalhere · 16/01/2019 04:27

In hospital having had a hysterectomy yesterday, own room but got noisy boot things on ( debt prevention) , a little discomfort and just dont feel very tired.

Lavende · 16/01/2019 04:33

Really bad period pain. The kind where you can’t get comfortable at all and it makes you panic

WhiteWashGails · 16/01/2019 04:34

I’ve called the MAU because I think my waters have gone Shock

@Mississipilessly I am struggling! I have also been considering a sleep consultant. I've tried all the tricks: warming the basket, laying one of my tops in, white noise, I even give a bottle of formula at bed time. I even tried co sleeping for a few nights despite being terrified of it! None of it helped! She is a sucky baby and wants to suckle for comfort a lot so unless she's on the breast she doesn't sleep for long. The only thing I've found that I think might be helping slightly is if I do manage to get her down in to her moses basket I've been leaving her in her own room and I think that keeps her asleep a little bit longer. She also only naps in my arms dying the day so I have no opportunity to catch up during the day either! I'm exhausted! I just keep telling myself it's a phase and if I give her all the comfort she needs now eventually she'll start sleeping through again. I hope do anyway!!! What have you tried for your little one?

waterplease · 16/01/2019 04:37

Slept all day yesterday due to depression. Can't sleep tonight though I am tired, because I'm thinking of scary things. Doctor put an urgent referral though to the psychiatric team 2 weeks ago now and I've heard nothing.

Deadbudgie · 16/01/2019 04:39

Sorry about that bees. I’m up cos DS wet the bed then the dog sat in my head. It’s not going well. Wfh tomorrow so at least I can have a bit of a lie in

Poppylizzyrose · 16/01/2019 04:41

Is leaving my baby in the rocker really bad? She’s fast asleep but I’m up worrying about it 🤦🏼‍♀️

slapmyarseandcallmemary · 16/01/2019 04:43

I work nightshift

Pandamodium · 16/01/2019 04:51

Period cramps and bleeding through my pyjamas despite a night time pad and tampon, I've been on the implant for 18 month with no side effects till a couple of months ago. My bloods have just come back showing anaemia too.

Debating on booking in the doctors I was offered tablets to stop the bleeding but my mam had breast cancer young and the link between BC and hormonal tablets terrifies me.

NoParticularPattern · 16/01/2019 04:56

I’m up because DH woke DD up by snoring so fucking loudly I thought the world was going to end. He’s now not talking to me, obviously it’s my fault that he woke his daughter up and I couldn’t get her back to sleep!

Kittycuddles · 16/01/2019 04:56

Trying to reset my sleep pattern so I'm awake for the day now! Also be is coming round at 6 -_- (am) and i am all so excuted i could cry! Im desperatly trying to make myself look pretty but failing to find a hairstyle that suit me :(

ChristmasAccountant · 16/01/2019 04:57

DC2 woke in screaming tears at 2am. Still awake now. Can’t get him to settle.
39 weeks pregnant and I’ve left him to it to eat Rice Krispies.

NoParticularPattern · 16/01/2019 05:01

And now DH is asleep in the sofa whilst I entertain the child that he woke up! Today is quite clearly already a write off!

Poppylizzyrose · 16/01/2019 05:02
