To want my mum with me in labour?

So, I'm not even pregnant yet but I am thinking about TTC.

DS is almost 2. When I was in labour with him, I had my DP and my DM with me. DM was the one I naturally turned to look after me in that state and she was amazing, DP was a bit useless in the room - at one point he actually had to go and take a seat because he almost passed out Envy I'm not sure id have been able to do it with just him at that point, he had no idea what to do with himself or what to even say.

It's actually worrying me that the only person to have DS if I had #2 would be DM so she couldn't be with me in labour, I'd be relying solely on DP to be a big support.

AIBU to stress about this? Or will I just have to suck it up and DP have to try and be a bit of a bigger support this time?

YABU to think about this and you are not even TTC yet.

Could your partner not look after your child and your mum be with you while you are in labour? Either way you have plenty of time to sort it out!

@Bambamber yeah, think I'm known for worrying about things way before they're even an official worry!! Don't think DP would be happy about that arrangement though, he'd definitely want to be there!
