We used to watch it being recorded when it was at Granada, such a tatty looking set and all the fancy lights must be cgi'd in later. There used to be an awful comedian came on between the specialist and GK rounds and the contestants had to sit there throughout.
The studio was used in the morning for Jeremy Kyle, the staff would always say A very different audience!

First choice of Still Game has already been done, so I'd pick Everybody Loves Raymond. I have some more highbrow options in mind for when I get through to the next round, naturally. Assuming that's how it still works. Haven't watched Mastermind on a regular basis since Magnus Magnusson, trying to dry my hair in front of the fire.
