I've been in bed all weekend with the flu. DP has been very considerate. I was up this morning, prepared to take DS to school as normal and then return home and go back to bed. DP says "oh I'll take him, you stay in the warm"
Lovely, thought I. Until DS gets home telling me he was late for school because DP kept making mistakes, going the wrong way, turning round etc. In the end, he made him get out and walk the last mile because DP was going to be late.
The school is 3 miles away, the route I take, which DP knows, has been carefully timed and avoids the traffic.
He's done this before - offering to pick up DCs from somewhere,(eg last train arriving at 11.30pm) but leaving the house too late and making them wait. During which time, I get a text "Is someone coming for me?"
Solutions anyone?
