This is based on a conversation we’ve been having in work.....

I’ll start....

My friend phoned me in a panic one day because her car had run of diesel in a shopping centre car park about 30 miles from where we live. She asked me to come and get her daughter while she waited on the RAC. I left work, drove 30 miles there and 30 miles back with her daughter to my mum’s as she was looking after my dd. I fed her DD her bottle, bathed her and changed her into her babygro and then took her home when my friend got in.

She then appeared at my mum’s with a huge bunch of flowers to say thank you to her 😂😂😂 I was like Wtf!? I was the one who drove miles and looked after your dd...it just happened to be my mum’s house I’d gone back to. We’re still good friends and it makes me laugh thinking about it. I could never say anything though.

Anyone else got an internal groan, gripe or eye roll you’d like to share Grin
