I'm not sure if it's a modern phenomenon but it feels like it. Loads of things I try to watch have really shaky filming; mabey to reflect realism but I'm not sure.

I'm missing out on loads because I have a dizziness problem and can't deal with it. Obviously the producers are thinking about that but even without dizziness aibu to find it annoying. The last things I tried was Manhunt on catch up for example.

Is it just me that notices?

I think Ofcom used to regulate how much of a programme could be filmed on a handheld camera, but I’m not sure if the regulations have relaxed with the new technology, as it definitely seems to be getting worse. Loads of factual programmes seem to rely almost entirely on GoPro footage these days. Cheap and annoying.
