Because it's 8pm.

dietnopelovechocolatetoomuch · 14/01/2019 04:10

Because I'm at work, doing my forth nightshift. Have just had a patient fall and another who has decided to come back from the pub. Detention orders all round tomorrow! So glad I'm on holiday as of 08:00!

newmum120 · 14/01/2019 04:10

Cause I'm pregnant and have my first scan in the morning and I'm too excited to sleep! 🙈 it's 4am I'm gonna be too tired to focus on the screen!!!

Lovingbenidorm · 14/01/2019 04:12

Blimey there’s an enormous amount of total shite on the tv at 4am 🧐

BBInGinDrinking · 14/01/2019 04:14

We're going on a bear hunt is quite surreal at 4am...

Gudgyx · 14/01/2019 04:17

Because I had a kebab for dinner earlier and I have mega heartburn now
Now I’m awake my heads doing overtime contributing to the not tiredness

Lovingbenidorm · 14/01/2019 04:26

Chewinggumwalk · 14/01/2019 04:31

Breastfeeding the little one.

ApolloandDaphne · 14/01/2019 04:37

I am awake for no reason at all. I usually sleep well and i have no worries. I am having a cup of tea and then when DH gets up for work at 5 i will go back and see if i can get a few more hours.

Lovingbenidorm · 14/01/2019 04:43

My DH will be up at 5.45 leaving for work at 6.30
Dc will be up and out by 7.30
I will then try to sleep a bit
I’m torn between worrying that I should be asleep and enjoying the night🤷🏻‍♀️

Jent13c · 14/01/2019 04:46

Big exam tomorrow. Haven't slept more than 5 hours a night in weeks worrying about it.

MissWilmottsGhost · 14/01/2019 04:55

I have CFS/ME no breast implants or coil Hmm and haven't slept well for about 20 years.

DH couldn't sleep earlier so put the light on and started reading. Needless to say this woke me up because I am such a light sleeper.

Now the fucker is fast asleep and I am wide awake Angry

fitflopqueen · 14/01/2019 05:02

Have a cold/ cough, was trying not to disturb husband as he has early start and long drive, he has just gone so will have a brew and probably sleep until taxi service to station at 7.45 for daughter who is off to LA today.

Oysterbabe · 14/01/2019 05:10

Breastfeeding.

Takaras · 14/01/2019 05:14

Just resettled nearly ten month old but this sort of time is a bit hit and miss for getting her back to sleep so I'm lying in the dark reading until she stopped murmuring and fidgeting and I know she is actually going to sleep a bit longer....

I was so sure she'd slept a bit longer during the night and then I looked at thread times and replies and realised she must have been up a couple of hours ago as usual (or I have a Mumsnet crystal ball and can read into the future) multiple night wakes become a blur!

cosytidy · 14/01/2019 05:16

DC woke me up, now can't sleep forwirryingConfused

TheWeatherGirl1 · 14/01/2019 05:19

Been awake for an hour/on and off through the night as the cat insists on sleeping as close to me as possible, thus preventing my poor knackered body from ever being either comfortable or cool.
I wish I didn't love her so much so I could shut her out.

And now I hear the baby waking up.
Yawn.

Lovingbenidorm · 14/01/2019 05:22

Cats do that don’t they. You can be so uncomfortable but if the cat is snuggled and purring there’s no way you will move and disturb her!

SallyVating · 14/01/2019 05:26

I'm listening to my mum breathing and the machine thing is making noises and keeping me awake.

TurquoiseDress · 14/01/2019 05:26

Baby woke up about an hour ago, settled quickly but I can't get back to sleep.

Looking at the news on my phone wasn't a good idea, now I'm here on MN.

I need to go back to sleep!
