About hour and half ago had cramp which lasted 10 minutes. Fell asleep. Now woken up with the aftermath. Put some ibuprofen gel on.it. hurts like hell

It's 7.30 in the evening and I've still got the laundry to sort, washing up to do, packed lunches to make and then general tidying. 6yo dd has just told me that she needs her ice skates and helmet for gym tomorrow so I've got to search the basement for those as well! Large glass of wine is about 2 hours in my future 😊

ewenice · 14/01/2019 02:28

Seem to wake up at this time most nights. Last night I managed a full night sleep only waking once briefly and then dropping off again. Very rare recently.

PinkPanther38 · 14/01/2019 02:29

I'm revising for uni exams next week and my body clock is all over the place - I'm pretty stressed and that isn't helping my sleep either tbh Sad

loolooskip · 14/01/2019 02:31

Because I've got horrible weird back ache that moved to my hips and legs. And my acid reflux has kicked up a storm and is trying to rip my throat out.

Wacadu · 14/01/2019 02:31

I'm obsessing over how I'm going to hand in my notice tomorrow and DP is snoring. Considering going downstairs to sleep on the couch but I don't think I'd get to sleep anyway.

DareDevil223 · 14/01/2019 02:31

My typical Sunday night insomnia. I should have got up earlier this morning. I've also had really bad pain on the right side of my pelvis which isn't responding to painkillers.

Thank God I'm working at home tomorrow.

LikeACowsOpinion · 14/01/2019 02:31

Insomnia.
Tis an absolute bitch.

That, plus chronic pain and a 3yo who thinks sleep is non-essential means sleep is a very rare & precious commodity in this house.

I take power naps (and by that I mean blinking) when I get the chance Grin

lily219 · 14/01/2019 02:33

I keep waking up because I feel too hot. Over 60 so well past menopause, window open, not sleeping on memory foam... Have now fetched out my thinnest duvet again.

loolooskip · 14/01/2019 02:33

Speaking to friends who drink they mostly all find that they wake at 2. Dh was banging on about the alcohol turning to sugar at that point and something about metabolising but I stopped listening.

But since I stopped drinking two weeks ago, the only night I couldn't sleep, woke up several times and didn't really deep sleep was the night I drank so there's clearly something in it!

BBInGinDrinking · 14/01/2019 02:33

A serial nightowl DC. I wouldn't say that I'm awake, exactly....

Pillowaddict · 14/01/2019 02:34

4 days post op hysterectomy and I'm sore, uncomfortable and feel pukey.

jobbymcginty · 14/01/2019 02:34

I'm at work will finish at 8 thankfully been a very busy night sadly a patient died earlier was expected but still sad

EdgyMcNervous · 14/01/2019 02:36

I'm in Asia and it's daytime here and I'm spending time on mumsnet (and obsessing about health fears!) rather than getting on with the million things I need to do!

Hope you all get some sleep soon. i'm a terrible sleeper too and hate that feeling of being awake in the middle of the night and the panic of knowing you've got to be functional the next day. If it helps, I always feel better in the morning (particularly after some breakfast), even if I'm knackered because nothing is quite as bad as the early hours panic...

EdgyMcNervous · 14/01/2019 02:37

x-posted with a few people jobbymcginty so sorry about your patient Sad

BBInGinDrinking · 14/01/2019 02:38

I do the ten second blink - luxury!

PurpleCrowbar · 14/01/2019 02:38

Insomnia. It's 4.30am here.

I crashed out at 6pm & was awake again by 9...been reading all night.

Have to be up for work in an hour...Confused

OhGodHelpUsAll · 14/01/2019 02:39

My sleeping pattern is 4am - 8am. Every day.

Jayfee · 14/01/2019 02:40

Oh Daisy, try not to worry about money. I know it is hard. I am back to bed now to try to get to sleep and wish all you insomniacs some respite. I was hungry and had to get up for some milk and a bun.

Lovingbenidorm · 14/01/2019 02:41

Sunday nights are always bad for me. I think it’s cos I sleep in sat and sun mornings then head full of week to come 🙄

BlessedMango · 14/01/2019 02:43

Baby only sleeps for an hour or two at a time. When resettled, waits til I’ve just got comfy in bed before wailing again.

WhatwouldRuthdo · 14/01/2019 02:45

Toddler DS is unwell and keeps snoring and snorting himself awake, then crying for me. Calculating what time I can demand DH steps in so I can get an hour or two before the older one gets up.

SophiaLovesSummer · 14/01/2019 02:45

Close protection so I won't be sleeping until they are finished where they are/safely home but right now I'm sitting in the car on a break (as my principal is in a building with other security) - came on here to check the thread of the OP whose twunt of a DH fucked off on Friday saying he'd be back today to 'tell the DCs' [fuckerAngry] as she's stayed very front of mind and I wanted to see how she was.

SophiaLovesSummer · 14/01/2019 02:48

@Doublethesarcasm 'My chronic fatigue is battling my fibro'

Wishing you peace and way off topic of thread but you don't have breast implants (or a Mirena coil) do you?

sobeyondthehills · 14/01/2019 02:48

I have my PIP tribunal tomorrow and can't sleep because I am panicking over it, probably won't sleep now
