I quite like a bit of abba when cleaning. Which I sing along to. I bust a few moves with the Hoover.

I’m talking David Brent stylee, proper embarrassing Dad dancing at a wedding moves with some weird interpretive dance type moves thrown it at random.
This is no normal bop around the house, I’m talking absolute mortification if someone saw me!

When I was working most of week, every Friday afternoon I cleaned the house to MeatLoaf's Bat Out Of Hell cd. Somehow it helped, a lot!

Do people not do this?? I thought it was 'Normal?! !!! Lol

MeatLoaf's good, Def Leppard's better - I like Adrenalize for cleaning - but for a really thorough job, you need punk. Turned up as loud as the neighbours will bear. Levellers for baking.

I whack the Greatest Showman on and not only do I dance wankily I sing very very badly at the top of my voice. But obviously when no one else is at home. Although I did get caught by hubby one day when the music was on so loud I didn't hear him come in!!!!

The Darkness and Guns n Roses are easier to bogle to imo.

Why wouldn't you? Go for it, if you can't dance in your own home then it's a sad state of affairs!

The music selection and following interpretive dance/sing a long is the best part of cleaning! It's why I like to send DP out when it my turn for cleaning so he can't judge me for Disney sing a longs with me acting out all of the different parts...
