To think that I should have just taken the cake for myself.

It’s my sisters birthday today.
We don’t get on, she is a very very difficult person.
But I worry that she won’t get anything from anyone for her birthday.
She hates everything and everyone, always has.
So I text her this morning to say happy birthday and that I have a wee something for her birthday. I’m on a 12 hour shift, will finish at 7, is it ok to bob to hers with this little thing?
Fine she says.
So come 7.20, I’m not getting off work any time yet. My finish time is 7, so I text her, really sorry I’m getting off late, will bob in in half an hour or so, is that ok?
“No, it’s not ok, she will be eating dinner then”.
Ok, says I, I will just leave it at the side of her house.
“Ok” was the reply.

So, yes I’m grumpy,
I’ve got off late, done over 12 hours today, had an apple & banana to eat all day, feet are killing me, I’m very tired, I got her a card and present, drove 20 minutes out of my way to deliver, not seen my kids today and she can’t even open the fucking front door to accept a card and cake from me.
She, btw, never ever even gets me a card for my birthday.

I think I should have had the cake to myself and fuck her!

Yep should have kept it for you.
Shouldn't leave food on the pavement either chances are a rat or fox will get it before she does.
