So in my tired and lack of sleep addled insomnia brain I decided to write my boyf a message for when he woke up, boasting about how productive I've been

Hey/dear bf your clever girl (lighthearted sarcasm) has done x and x already, I've been so reproductive today!

Good job I thought of what I was doing before I sent it!

Anyone else make some memorable or even just passable funny typos recently?

I once worked in Local Authority Personnel Dept as a copy typist. Yes...I'm that old...back in the days before PC's when minions did the typing!! One of the guys had really spidery writing and I read it wrong. I was supposed to address a memo to All Chief Officers and Team Leaders. I typed it to All Chief Officers and Team Ladies . In my dolly daydream state it hasn't crossed my mind that maybe the tea ladies didn't need yo know about the latest changes to the Council's application forms or whatever it was. It caused lots of tottering in the office!!

Team Ladies should read Tea Ladies!! Bloomin auto correct

Tottering = tittering!! Crikey...typos! I don't like typing as you can tell...I quit as soon as I could!!

Haha! The old fashioned and then new fashioned daydream and autocorrect strike! Again!

I imagined/pictured tottering as ladies laughing so hard in spiny heels and polka dot fifties dresses, laughing so hard as they walk around the office, that everywhere tottering all over the place, as in like wobbling away in their lottery heels, tottering whilst tottering

Writing a press release for a client: spellcheck didn't pick up the difference between hard-won and hard-on.

My client was in the timber industry. Cue many many wood jokes

Architects office, project finishing, so completing the snag list - long running order of minor jobs outstanding ie. remove paint splash from bath, grout bump around light switch etc. Checked it all so it could be handed out at a big meeting. Checked it all bar the title - in capitals, and bold and a size 14 font SLAG LIST

50s!! Bless you....I'm not quite that old ....think late 80s....more shoulder pads and spiral perms than polka dots and Bobby pubs!! Did have the heels though so yes lots of tottering....something to do with boozy pub lunches too...I digress. ..word processors were the new kids on the block but we still bashed stuff out on manuals.

Any time frame before the 90s/80s I consider the fifties .... I'm not v v good with maths and dates as you can tell haha, I think I once quoted the 1800s being the Victorian age and then later that day named it as my dad's birth year TO HIS FACE

Texting my mum, finishing a long drawn out series of texts and sent ok followed by x but then pressed send before I checked it and auto correct changed it to old. I was in stitches. She was less amused

I wished a lot of people a lonely Christmas not a lovely Christmas. Phone obviously want feeling festive.

I work for an FE college, email to all staff... DenbighSHITE instead of Denbighshire, haven't lived that one down.

I accjdently auto corrected jim to mum in a rather abusive (joke) text to my bf the other day and he offered ever so kindly to send her a screenshot of it, but I was like
