Literally it. Amazon Founder Jeff Bezos allegedly caught in an affair. His Wife, helped to build the company. Washington state - where they live has community assets. Do you think she should automatically get half?

Yes, as by all accounts she helped support the intial start up, both financially and as a spouse.

Yes of course she should. She helped him start it and she enabled him to work long hours while carrying the mental load. Really this is the clearest ever 50:50 divorce, 25 years, she helped him start it, she facilitated his success. Some of the 12 months together etc ones are less clear cut. This is not.

So some reports are saying by her seeking half. She is not only diminishing his wealth but her own because he is so central to the companies success. Putting aside whether she actually wants the money. But apparently she may be 'better off' by not seeking half.
