To ask what type of hairdryer is best

I need a new hairdryer; but just can’t work out what type to buy!

Have you got an excellent hairdryer, would you recommend it?

I have a Parlux Advance Light and it's amazing! Far more than I've ever spent on a hairdryer (usually go for Remington or Babyliss ones at around £30 from Boots, just whatever they have in that looks decent) but it is far and away the best. It dries my hair so quickly, and the cable is 3m long! Feels really sturdy as well.

What’s your hair like? Makes a big differnce.

Mammylamb · 10/01/2019 13:16

It’s very fine and frizzy. Just now it’s between collar and shoulder length!

Another recommendation for the Parlux. Bought this on my hairdresser’s advice and am really pleased with it. It’s very light and powerful.

HundoP · 10/01/2019 13:21

I’ve got a Parlux too!

As does my hair stylist, and her boss.

Busybusybust · 10/01/2019 13:23

Dyson ;)

Wallsbangers · 10/01/2019 13:34

Parlux

Babyliss big hair - it's the bees knees

Spanglybangles · 10/01/2019 14:10

Another vote for Parlux

I got a GHD air hairdryer for Christmas and have been really impressed with it so far. Takes half the time to dry my hair and my old hairdryer was a pretty decent one. My hair has also felt softer and more manageable since using it.

SisterFarAway · 10/01/2019 15:16

I've got this hairdryer from Braun.
It is quite powerful and has some sort of mesh on the back that prevents hair from being drawn into the dryer.

Dyson

PawPawNoodle · 10/01/2019 15:22

When I die I'm having my Dyson buried with me, if that helps.

Withgraceinmyheart · 10/01/2019 16:39

I’ve got the panosonic one and it’s amazing for my frizzy hair. I’ve only used the diffuser bit though.

Lilybobtail13 · 10/01/2019 16:41

I have a Parlux, best hairdryer
I have ever owned.

TheySeeMeMintRollinTheyHatin · 10/01/2019 16:42

Dyson ;)

Mammylamb · 10/01/2019 21:34

I’d love a dyson. But can’t justify the £400 price tag!

Babyliss EQ. Long, wavy/straight hair with a blunt fringe.
