To feel super paranoid

Normal day, got into work and checked CCTV for the previous night/ early this morning. At 2:39 am two suspicious men came into my front garden and we're rummaging around in some black sacks we have outside! Am I being a worry wort for thinking they'll come back?!?!

Why do you have black sacks outside your house? Clearly they were looking to see if something valuable to them was in them. Unless you put more black sacks out, I would not assume they will come back.

Do you regularly come home and check your cctv footage?

Black sacks were out due to bin day, as were everyone else's.

What made you check? Probably best not to leave black bags outside tbf.

Yes I check CCTV regularly as I have a feed of it to my phone!

Sometimes people do this seeking info to allow them to hack into your bank account etc. So long as you haven't been chucking confidential info out with the rubbish you should be fine.

We have people who regularly go through bins here.
They are usually looking for anything that has scrap value or can be resold, clothing.
No one here ever puts out paperwork without shredding it.
They are so blatent, they come round during the day with empty pushchair to put their haul in.

I didn't even consider that! Luckily we don't throw anything like that! You've eased my mind!!
