AIBU to think that I really don’t need a mouthful of candyfloss first thing in the morning?

Or liquorice...or watermelon...or tutti frutti!

Now I’m a massive fan of vaping. It stopped my husband smoking after over 20 years. I’m just not sure I need clouds of sweet smoke in my face at 8am every morning 😝

Can he not do it outside?

LoopyLou1981 · 10/01/2019 07:21

Sorry, I didn’t make that clear at all. Not my husband. He vapes outside.
It’s my morning commute over a busy bridge. It’s like a sweet shop walking over there in the mornings 😂

Ah ok. Yanbu, some of the vape smells make me feel sick. I suppose it's marginally better than cigarette smoke though.

Coloursthatweremyjoy · 10/01/2019 07:27

Oh I know! I usually end up in a queue of traffic in the morning. The car in front will often omit a huge plume of (not) smoke and suddenly my car is full of cherry or vanilla. I refuse to have the heater off! Grin

I tell myself it's better than cigarette smoke but they are quite sickly aren't they.

HoraceCope · 10/01/2019 07:29

I guess it is better than smoke from a real cigarette.
i agree though in hating those sweet smelling vapes

Aridane · 10/01/2019 07:39

Yes - I sort of feel nostalgic for the foul smell of cigarettes

TarragonSauce · 10/01/2019 07:48

Vaping transformed my life 4 yrs ago.
But I cannot abide the smelly vape liquids, they make me retch.
I use unflavoured/unscented. And the lowest strength of nicotine.
The psychology is quite interesting - what do I actually get from vaping? I think it is the fear that if I am not putting a vape into my mouth, it'd be a Snickers bar.
