Anti-social smells in the workplace / public transport

Light- hearted really - just wondering what smells Mumsnetters find most anti-social in enclosed areas, like the workplace / public transport.

For me it's tuna, egg and oranges - I actually LIKE these foods but not when other people are eating them, particularly in enclosed areas. Yet most other food smells in enclosed areas don't bother me (I'm not sure why!)

Oh and over-powering perfume - I try to leave the room where possible......

Fish heated up/cooked in an office microwave.

It always smells awful, it lingers, and it's gross. A man at work does it all the time

I'm allergic to perfume so that's a huge one for me.

Strong food smells like fish, egg, orange, garlic and onion.

I'm also prone to puking if people repeatedly belch up half digested food and drink smells by me. My OH kept doing this in the car and I puked.

And body odour

Fish in the work microwave ....

Weed and body odour

A girl I used to work with used to microwave cabbage in a tiny one person kitchen with no window or air con. The rest of the afternoon just reeked. It was gross.

Thankfully it was an EX colleague.

Hell yes to perfume and egg!

When I was in a hall of residence, several people on my floor use to use the sandwich maker to fry an egg so it stank the whole floor of egg. Rank.

A woman on my commute at 7am used to eat a boiled egg. It stunk. She was the recipient of a lot of sighing, pointed glances, people moving away from her, tutting etc. She got the message and stopped.

Any smelly food that goes in the office microwave.

Big Mac or noodle type dishes on trains.
