To leave DP because of his disgusting nose habit

He picks his nose constantly- at home, in public (even digged for 15 minutes on a plane flicking the contents on the floor 🤮).
Whenever I catch him I ask if he needs a tissue but he just says no. I am embarrassed to be with him at times because of this.
I could just about put up with this but it’s pushing my buttons & really sets my teeth on edge.
However even worse than this is that he picks his nose & eats it & then, invariably, leans in for a kiss 🤢.
I just can’t stand it & think at 53 he’s never going to change.

Have you told him you're on the verge of leaving because of it?

I have this problem with my DP. I really hate it, I tend to offer a tissue as soon as I see it and it helps. If he did it in private I wouldn't care but I hate he does it in front of me!

WTAF. YANBU in the least. I wouldn't stay with someone who continually embarrassed me in public, and knew they were doing it.

That aside, personal hygiene is important. My ex rarely brushed his teeth, in fact my cue to know he wanted sex was that he'd go brush his teeth (because I flatly refused otherwise). Now he's remarried to a woman who doesn't appear to brush her teeth either.

Oh my god, you totally have to leave. He eats it? That is disgusting. My DP (and his whole family) pick their teeth after a meal, he daren’t do it in front of me anymore as I find it disgusting.
