DH is about to go to ALDI and asked if I want any treats. I said I'll have a think and text a list to him.

What are your yummiest ALDI buys?

Chimichuri olives
Tempura chicken fillets
Hot smoked salmon fillets
Mini pudding pots in the wee glass jars
Any of the flavoured cooked chicken breast slices

Not shopped there for ages. But do they still do continental apple tart? Or the plum one they were yummy!

The Brochan porridge bars, bloomer bread in the pan er bag, chia seeds, torchon ham, trewithen butter, chocolate and monster munch

The sugar free lemon sherberts are lovely!
But there were none of these hallumi fried things which lots of you are raving about. The freezer section for the beasties was empty, so I’ll have to try them another time. What do you recommend to have with them?

Tesco own brand block butter is £6 per kg. Sure Norpak is cheaper. How much is aldi own brand block butter?

@sulflower oh no!!! I went last night and they didn't have any at all. The sign was still there... then again there wasn't much of anything else really. I'll be back there next week, I hope they aren't discontinued, I prefer them to normal chips xx

Everything! Aldi is fabulous. Just love how you can have lots of luxury items and still get a weekly shop for 4 for £80!

They may have been just for Christmas, but the boxes of white chocolate truffles coated in shavings of white chocolate are/were A. MAY. ZING. I kept buying them “for Christmas Day” and then having to replace them.
