My son's father didn't even so much as send him a card on his first Chritmas. We had broken up a few weeks before after and he's always been a selfish . I'm fuming and I don't know why, how do I get over this. He's completely ignored his son for over a month now after banging on about how much he never sees him.

Can his son read? If not, why did the boy need a card?

I sense massive rejection in your op.
Is it rejection of your ds by his dad or your ex’s rejection of you? Try to separate the two. You can not force a relationship with dad and son, he will pay the price though, selfish bastard.

OP, he sounds like a big massive bellend. The only good thing (if there is any) is that your son is too young to understand or feel the hurt from the rejection even if you do, he'll grow up knowing no different if his dad carries on.

YANBU to be angry but YWBU to rise to the bait. Just ignore with the contempt he deserves.

I also agree he is trying to get a reaction........ignore! He'll hate that!
