So, at the age of 50 I know that if o don't gain a GCSE in Maths this year I will stay at the same pay grade in my job for the rest of my working life (likely). I need a fantastic teacher of maths - remotely, as travel may be difficult. I will pay for a great teacher. For a number of reasons I cannot attend evening classes.
Does anyone have suggestions?

Decide on which exam board you will take the exam with and find the school in which you can sit the actual exam as an external candidate. Then google maths tutors for your area. That worked for me.

Godotsarrived - AQA - my understanding is that there is not a huge variation in content with different boards; is this correct?

Have a tutor come to you - although our experience of face to face tutors is very variable. We also used Skype tutors through Alpha tutors who were all really good.

Skyping would be ideal for me at the moment so I'll explore that. Thanks.
