DH says yes and thinks im some kind of weirdo. I have swollen glands and feel crap so I think it's fine Grin He has brought me both up anyway but thought I would gauge other's thoughts!

Oooh. Chocolate dunked in hot chocolate in bed. Hyummmmmm.

Only thing that would bother me is having to get back out of bed to clean my teeth before sleeping. Cleaning your teeth in bed is possibly a step too far.

MADASANOWL · 05/01/2019 22:29

Is there another location to drink hot chocolate?
And when me and my sister used to live at home my Dm used to hide all her chocolate in her knicker draw and eat it in bed to get out of sharing it!

BackBoiler · 05/01/2019 22:31

DH said my teeth would rot (in jest) obviously I will brush my teeth because I will definitely need one last wee in a bit!

No. I'd get some toast in too for good measure.

Ivegotthree · 05/01/2019 23:05

No. I did this the last two nights, with toast and honey rather than chocolate (alongside the hot choc) as I had a cold too.

Thoroughly enjoyed myself and well worth the extra teeth brushing afterwards.

Yanbu. The thought makes me warm inside. I personally love hot chocolate with cream and a chocolate hob nob at least once a week. You deserve it.

Soconfusedbylife · 05/01/2019 23:10

IMO it’s not unreasonable to eat or drink anything in bed

BackBoiler · 05/01/2019 23:15

I think it was more the double chocolate combo at 10.30 pm but it has cheered me up, although now I cannot sleep so laid with the window open listening to distant cars whooshing by! (He doesnt like the window open either Grin)

It's what I was doing at 10.30pm tonight. Hot Chocolate and Heroes.

Sweetpea55 · 07/01/2019 16:35

Now is this proper hot choc.. Or a sachet of Cadbury cack? Iv got a tin of Carbonell and Walker on the go.. It says to mix with boiled water but I heat up some milk and do it that way. Best hot choc I ever had was in a cafe in France..

YANBU, however, and you probably won't like to hear this, if your throat is bad chocolate is your worst enemy - it increases phlegm and will probably make you feel worse!

BackBoiler · 07/01/2019 20:09

@Sweetpea it was Cadbury's cack from a Tassimo machine, with Cadbury cack chocolate. I have cheap taste Wink

Yanbu. I wish I had chocolate in the house. Enjoy

Gotstuckwiththisname · 07/01/2019 20:41

I would rink in bed, but I won't eat anything in bed. It just feels wrong to me. If you're ok with it though, that's tickety boo!

Sweetpea55 · 08/01/2019 06:35

Backboiler

AGHHHH · 08/01/2019 06:55
