You know that hysterical, can’t breathe a bit laugh? I’m terrible for finding people falling over hilarious (as long as they aren’t hurt!) what was the last thing to make you crease up laughing? Grin

Bought Trivial Pursuit to play over Christmas and daughter (22) and I were just reading through the questions randomly - not actually playing a game, but just testing each other.

Me: "Name the Arch Duke whose assassination was a factor in the start of WWI?"

Daughter: Confused

Me: "You know this ... you did this in school. I remember when you had it for your homework"

Daughter: Confused

Me: "There's a Scottish band that have called themselves after him. They did that song (cue me humming/singing the chorus from 'Take Me Out' )"

Daughter: Confused

Me: "You know this! It's two names both start with an 'F'. "

Daughter: Confused

Me: " The first name is Franz .."

Daughter: "Franz Christian Andersen!"

My 7 yr old DS this morning trying to stop smiling. He kept trying to pull his mouth straight or look cross and just couldn't. DH & I were hysterical.

EcklesCakes · 06/01/2019 22:43

Friday Night Dinner! It's such hilarious show. It had me in stitches multiple times to the point where I had to hold in my laughter due to my DS being asleep on me and had me turning red in the face trying not to burst out laughing.

Trying to write my dc's names with alphabites and managing to spell 2 out of 3 of them incorrectly without even noticing

FatandSassy · 07/01/2019 15:40

Realising that on Michael Jackson's "I'm bad" song that the background singers are really singing "really, really, bad" - got DP to listen and we were belly laughing for ages over that one.
Now in our house if something is bad it's questioned. "Is it really, really, bad?" Grin

FatandSassy · 07/01/2019 15:40

@EcklesCakes "shit on it!" Grin

EcklesCakes · 07/01/2019 15:42

I think that was my favourite line in the entire show, @FatandSassy Grin

me and dp were laying on our bed just chatting. i said "right ill go pop dinner in" went to roll backwards to sit up and get of the bed but misjudged how close i was to the edge so i end up saying "see ya" and then rolling off the bed flat on my back Grin dp was laughing so hard he was crying and punching the mattress 😂

Bezalelle · 10/01/2019 13:28

A conversation with DP in which I came out looking like a right idiot:

DP: Look at that shop name. Bryant's. That's my mate's name.
Me: Which mate?
DP: Chris.
Me: Chris who?
DP: Bryant...

All my grown up DC were here over Xmas. Youngest was slow getting out of bed to go for a walk one day so we all "bundled" her. Five of us flailing about on her bed like we did when they were young. Beautiful, helpless, fighting for breath laughter.

Whyislarryhappy · 10/01/2019 13:35

We got a kitten, hours before we got him, dp went and got the food, litter ect. Ds age 3 saw the cat food tin with a big image of a cat on and said "there's our new cat in the tin! I didn't know cats came from a tin!" ConfusedGrin

Until I read this thread (how did the man get stuck in the compost bucket?) it was watching Billy Connolly Made In Scotland - the bit about the tick.

I'm sure DD got milkshake for lunch with both of those
