You know that hysterical, can’t breathe a bit laugh? I’m terrible for finding people falling over hilarious (as long as they aren’t hurt!) what was the last thing to make you crease up laughing? Grin

My DH was listening to that new song by Andrea Bocelli and Dua Lipa and made some comment about them being a totally natural collaboration. He then started singing ‘New Rules’ in the style of Andrea Bocelli. It absolutely killed me.

DontCallMeCharlotte · 06/01/2019 10:09

Actually MrsTommyBanks My BFF has recently come out the other side of breast cancer and I'm making myself laugh (here by myself) imagining us having the same conversation. Especially given how helpless we were the first time we saw a "this door is alarmed" sign.

Bizarrely I'm also picturing my late mum and her best friend being equally hysterical at frightened vagina.

WhatchaMaCalllit · 06/01/2019 10:26

Thank you @Jenwiththecurls - that was pure gold!

WhatchaMaCalllit · 06/01/2019 10:28

Over the Christmas holidays I've been watching the outtakes and bloopers of The Chase. By god they are so funny. Couldn't select just one as they're all really laugh out loud funny!

Beefandmixed · 06/01/2019 10:42

I work in a cafe and yesterday was a match day so it was absolutely heaving with fans. My colleague was taking orders and I was making them, I asked her who a particular drink was for and she replied the gentleman with the red scarf, I looked up to see at least 20 men all in red scarves. I couldn’t help but laugh neither could the group of supporters waiting in line most of which were also wearing a red scarf. Reading it now it doesn’t seem that funny but it had us all in stitches! Grin

secondhanddreamsdealer · 06/01/2019 10:52

DP being a "gentleman" and never farting in my presence. He thought I left but I turned around to grab something and walked in on him doing the loudest thunderous fart ever with that happy and content face of a man who finally got some privacy to be himself. I said "Oh dear" loudly and he realised I was there. He was so embarrassed he couldn't speak. We both laughed to absolute tears.

Fstar · 06/01/2019 11:02

My dog makes me laugh everyday, he is a nutter. When he farts he turns around and is like what the fluff was that! Then looks at us like, did you hear that! 😂

Ifangyow · 06/01/2019 11:24

A couple of years ago on holiday, there was a woman in her 40's who used to appear at the pool daily with a face full of make up, perfectly done hair and wearing a bikini. She never went in the pool but used to strut round it in a look how gorgeous I am kind of way.
Till one afternoon she tripped and fell in it. She dragged herself out with her hair all over and her face looked like Alice Cooper where her mascara etc had run.
I thought I was going to pop an artery I was laughing so much. It still cracks me up now.

sparkleandsleep · 06/01/2019 20:56

When the mechanic told me my car had a dried out bush and they had to fix it. I didn't find it funny until I repeated it to dh and he laughed so much I laughed along with him Smile

Imalittleelf · 06/01/2019 21:02

That speak out game with the mouth pieces... I couldn't breathe it was so funny to play

Ahardmanisgoodtofind · 06/01/2019 21:05

Impractical Jokers ; scoopsky patatoes, gets me every time I watch it. It's stupid but I love it

KenDoddsDadsDog · 06/01/2019 21:06

Tonight when I tripped over the rug and farted as I fell. 😂

tinytreefrog · 06/01/2019 21:07

Cards against humanity. Best game ever!

BoswellsBollocks · 06/01/2019 21:11

When The Big Fat Quiz of the Year was on, there was a section at the end where there was a group of people dressed as superheroes. Now in my family we’re all huge Spongebob fans so, DS1 (who is 17) ,with me not realising what he was doing, managed to creep up beside me, get down to my ear and whispered in Spongebob’s voice “They’re actors!” Quoting a brilliant bit from Spongebob where he finds out that Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy will not be playing themselves in a new movie.

I couldn’t breathe for laughing, he totally blindsided me.

YoureAllABunchOfBastards · 06/01/2019 21:13

A comment from DH. DS2 had made up some story about lava and if you could buy it. DH said you can, but the shops aren't around very long. I properly choked on my drink.

Soubriquet · 06/01/2019 21:17

My dh is the most accident prone in the world yet I still can’t work out how he managed to fall off the chair and smack bang on his stomach pinching the skin on he leg at the same time..

He has also head butted a Hoover once and got a black eye

I didn’t laugh...much

Forgottenmypassword · 06/01/2019 21:41

DH telling me in bed the other night that one of his eyes had crossed earlier in the day and got stuck there for a while.

I mean, I guess it could be something serious but he giggled as he told me and it just set me off. I laughed so much I farted.

mcmooberry · 06/01/2019 21:41

Sacha Baron Cohen getting a Charlie Chaplin award, it was from 2013 but I only just saw it and it made me laugh many, many times over the course of an evening.

ChampionThreadKiller · 06/01/2019 21:42

Last name got whilst watching Michael McIntyre. He was doing a nighttime quiz thing with Peter Andre who started talking Greek with some Greek dancers that were also there. “Oh, you’re talking Pingu” had me in stitches!

JohnCRaven · 06/01/2019 21:46

DH failing spectacularly to light DD's birthday candles. It was windy so we ended up going inside then just as he got them lit he blew out the match and the candles with it. The look on his face GrinGrinGrin

PookieDo · 06/01/2019 21:53

Me and my best friend are trying and failing to lose weight for about approx 6 years of our whole friendship. He once tried something ‘herbal’ which was a laxative I warned him not to and I could not breath for laughing when he was stuck on the loo for 4 hours. He was panicking and texting me the most overly dramatic texts and thought he was dying

He sent me this earlier and it just reminded me of that incident

PookieDo · 06/01/2019 21:54

This sorry

PookieDo · 06/01/2019 21:55

ARGh it wont upload

JaffaBiscuitNotCake · 06/01/2019 21:56

Reading the embarrassing toddler moments thread a minute ago Grin

Mammyofonlyone · 06/01/2019 21:59

The most I have laughed in a long time was at the Mumsnet classic thread 'reality vs expectation of new purchases' thread a few months ago. Literally aching with laughter, especially at the Col. Gaddafi comment. So so funny. Am off to re read it now.
