You know that hysterical, can’t breathe a bit laugh? I’m terrible for finding people falling over hilarious (as long as they aren’t hurt!) what was the last thing to make you crease up laughing? Grin

The Two Doors Down episode where Christine's ceiling comes down. The arguement she has with Sophie and when she says to Kathy "She's been at the pumping!" makes me roar. Is on Iplayer atm The Good Life, Silly but fun, when Tom threatens to kiss Margot if she doesn't join in. Watched both last week and laughed in the same places as always! Grin

@tor8181

Are you Scottish? I bloody love Still Game. I’m from Glasgow and it honestly represents the city in a way I understand.

I feel like I know and have known people like Jack, Victor, Winston, Isa, Naveed and Boaby.

We also call pakora “paroka” thanks to Still game 😂😂😂😂😂

Strawbberrypineapple · 05/01/2019 23:28

My hudband trying to glue a broken lightswitch and then getting annoyed and calling me- part of it was glued to his thumb sticking up in the air! The more annoyed he became the more I laughed...he cant always see the funny side of things unfortunately....Grin

Ds going on stage at the panto and stealing the show with his unintentional comedyGrin

SidekickSally · 05/01/2019 23:46

When a guy from HR texted to inform me that he’d “screwed all the candidates”.

He obviously meant “screened” and he was mortified. I couldn’t stop laughing though. Still makes me laugh now!

The other night - I was in bed and DH was just getting ready for bed. I can't repeat it but it was one of those 'you had to be there' moments. I was howling, everything hurt and I nearly fell out of bed because I was laughing so much.

DH is one of the few people that makes me laugh like that - it's one of things I love about him.

There have been some threads on MN that have made me howl though - there was one with everyone's imaginary scenarios, like conducting interviews with Jenni Murray in the kitchen, or singing on the stage of the Royal Albert Hall when really you're in the shower. I cried with laughter at that one whilst DH was watching the footie one night - he had to keep turning the sound up to drown me out....!

At our handfasting, the congregation passed round a basket of flower petals and scattered some on the ground. DD then nearly 3, when it was her turn, tipped the whole lot on the ground. I still laugh about it! Xmas Grin

The BROS documentary had me in absolute stitches. It really is a must see.

One of my Christmas presents was "Anyone for Seconds" by Laurie Graham. Many moments when I LOL.

treaclesoda · 06/01/2019 00:48

A colleague and I in work had a bit of a laugh about something recently, related to a bit of shared history. It was nothing much to anyone else, wouldn't make sense to describe the joke. But after a few minutes we were in tears and gasping for breath. Then everyone else started laughing at the state of us and that made us laugh even more. I was actually sore afterwards from the effort of laughing.

My youngest ds(10) wans excited we were going to get subway for lunch (his favourite) when eldest ds (13) came downstairs youngest said "guess what we are having for lunch? " eldest replied "the souls of the innocents? "
They both laughed so long and hard that I couldn't resist. My little weirdos.

The thread on here about everyone's vision for their outfit versus reality, particularly the triceratops ruffle neck.

Also Theresa May locked in the car while Angela Merkel waited patiently...

Russaindolly · 06/01/2019 01:06

DP when I told him that id heard on the news that Big Ben was being renamed as Big Mohammad, at the insistence of our London mayor.

What ensued was a rant from him about how terrible it was and how he shouldn't be allowed to change the name of a famous landmark.

He's incredibly gullable sometimes and I'm a convincing wind up merchant Grin

There's someone on my team who comes out with quite inappropriate comments, which are always hilarious and has us all in stitches. Once I make eye contact with 1 particular colleague laughing, I am usually in tears. But they are all 'had to be there' moments.

My toddler DS is going through that stage where anything poo and fart related is hilarious. He came up to me and said 'panda poo' and he was in stitches, as though he had told me the best joke ever. Last night he did a great fart in the bath, it was like 20 little farts in one, and we both laughed for ages. He was so impressed, bless him 😂

ChaircatMiaow · 06/01/2019 01:31

Karl Pilkington book I was reading on a long haul flight, I was crying laughing.

APILN Facebook page, some of the comments on there make me howl too.

Disquieted1 · 06/01/2019 02:06

I heard about a man who superglued his testicle together. Had me in stitches!
He ripped his pyjama bottoms around the gusset (is that the right word?), and instead of taking them off and sewing them he thought it would be easier to just superglue them in situ. Ended up his balls got superglued to the pyjama bottoms and to each other!
DW tried to cut away the pyjama bottoms with scissors but the last bit was problematic so he had to go to A&E with this tiny sporran stuck to his balls.

MrsTommyBanks · 06/01/2019 02:17

This is going to sound bad, but it's true.
My friend has recently got the all clear from breast cancer. But she is on some meds for the next 5 years. One of the side effects is effecting her foof.
She saw a gyno and the diagnosis was, she has a frightened vagina.
It shouldn't be funny, and you have to know her to know why we couldn't breath for laughing.
If she gets upset by anything now I ask if her vagina is frightened too and we crack up all over again.

Watching Ozzy Man reviews - Goose versus Elephant on you tube with 11 year old son.

DontCallMeCharlotte · 06/01/2019 10:03

She saw a gyno and the diagnosis was, she has a frightened vagina.

Could be worse, could be "excited bladder".

God, imagine if you had both!
