AIBU I am losing my shit just put this awful stuff in my bath! It's now blocked and brand new swim shorts covered in slime will not rinse off!
Can I put shorts in washing machine has this happened to anyone else? Advice needed please?

It’s meant to dissolve and turn to water after a certain amount of time isn’t it? I had a jelly bath bomb from lush. It only made the top layer into jelly but it did dissolve completely in a few minutes.

SuchAToDo · 05/01/2019 19:42

You put slime in your bath?Confused

DailyMailDontStealMyThread · 05/01/2019 19:44

I’d put the shorts in the freezer

SneakyGremlins · 05/01/2019 19:44

Isn't there something you add to turn it to water again?

crocsaretoocoolforschool · 05/01/2019 19:45

What you need is salt water

REALLY salty water

Have you used the full pack of dissolver?

hocuspocusbitch · 05/01/2019 19:45

There's usually 2 sachets in packets, one to turn the water into slime and another to change it back into water? If you've done that and still have problems, I'd contact the makers!

ohhelloitsyou · 05/01/2019 19:45

Apparently salt is what you add to dissolve it? Have you read the instructions?

Parttimewasteoftime · 05/01/2019 19:46

It was a Christmas gift for my boys I currently hate my cousin!
In the freezer oh dear god why?

The salt has always dissolved them for me?

Beerflavourednipples · 05/01/2019 19:47

So did you put the second dissolver pack in or what?

Parttimewasteoftime · 05/01/2019 19:50

Oh sweet jesus it was DH who made the slime with two packs (didn't look thick enough)!?
Just said about salt he's clueless.

Is it slime baff or jelly baff? Jelly baff has a dissolver as pps have said but slime bath doesn't. With slime baff you just keep adding water until its really thinned out and then start pulling the plug while having both taps on full (at least that's how I did it- and never again!! Absolutely insane waste of water 😫)

NameChangeNine · 05/01/2019 19:54

Geli baff has two packets but OP is on about Slime Baff which is a new version! We did ours this afternoon but played from outside the bath thankfully! The instructions say to add more water too dilute it before pulling the plug. I'm sure it will be fine to wash the shorts as the excess water will break the slime right down.

NameChangeNine · 05/01/2019 19:55

Although it was a nice sensation run through my hands, I must add - never again! Geli baff is much cleaner!!

Parttimewasteoftime · 05/01/2019 19:58

No its slime baff awful stuff!
"DH" just pulled plug no salt or extra water added I could kill him!
Yes total madness both taps on and some down the loo my poor children. Going to put in shed as a outdoor toy thanks all.
