I name changed for this and know its an odd one but who else can you ask this stuff?

AIBU in thinking that it isn't normal for someone's farts to be so smelly that the house stinks? Fed up of my DH ruining the atmosphere in the home with this. I will be in my bedroom, all clean and nice and then it stinks like a sewer. Or, the farts in the living room make it uninhabitable and if someone calls, you can smell it through the house.
Currently, have the doors open -and the heating on-

Please AIBU, is this normal????

Post nasal drip, sinus problems or allergies producing mucus that is swallowed all cause nasty smelly wind. It's not something generally associated so can be missed.

My dd also farts like a trooper and she is only 17 months!

Toddler farts are the worst smell in the world.

I used to add some green healthy powder to my smoothies in a morning and OMG my farts could have killed people. It's like something had crawled up my arse and died! Took me a few days to figure it was the powder and it went in the bin straight away!

I think you have a husband problem more than a medical problem. If he could keep the worst of his flatulence to the toilet or the garden, your house wouldn’t stink like a sewer. The fact he doesn’t care about that says a lot about how much he respects you, his family and his home.

Muesli always sets me off.
I tend to fire them off outside though...the local wildlife population is decreasing rapidly as a result.

I have cans of air freshener to hand around the house for when DH has a bad day. He hates being sprayed with it and it gets my message across Grin

Toddler farts are the worst smell in the world.

I bet my last dog did worse ones. They were so awful we were half expecting a visit from the UN weapons inspectors wanting to see what sort of biological weapons we were developing.

His guts improved massively when we changed his food to one that was formulated for working dogs. Perhaps you could try that OP!
