On Emmerald gives me the rage. If they were going to do a trans story why couldn't they have a female actor who's transitioning to male rather than a male actor pretending he was born female and transitioning.

The actor who plays Matty is in real life someone who has transitioned...

I've never been more pleased to be wrong, that's fantastic progress for the actor.
I had looked him up when I read the storyline as I expected the actor to be trans but there was no mention of it.
