Took a long time to have dc with multiple infertility issues. Eventually it worked via ivf. I really want dc to have a sibling. So started ttc pretty much immediately. I’ve since miscarried at 7 weeks, 20 weeks and now at 6 weeks. So if you do have a post multiple miscarriage baby could you please share them. Thank you.

3 miscarriage and a molar pregnancy

We have one DC

I can’t mentally cope with the thought of losing more if we were to try

Hugs to you xx

Singlebutmarried · 03/01/2019 21:28

Should have said. DC was after the above.

littlecabbage · 03/01/2019 21:30

My mother had three consecutive miscarriages before having three healthy children.
I am sorry for your losses Flowers

CrabbyPatty · 03/01/2019 21:31

I know someone who has had 8 losses and has now started her maternity leave with her rainbow. Personally I don't know how she kept going. I've had one loss and I'm currently 35 weeks pg. I have a friend in the same boat but about 9 weeks behind me. My cousin lost 2 and has had her rainbow and she had a daughter before her losses. Xx

VamillaSugar · 03/01/2019 21:31

Secondary infertility, 3 miscarriages, pregnancy hormone treatment when pregnant again with twins, but then one twin lost in the womb.

Now got a stroppy 11 healthy (did I say stroppy?) boy who is the apple of my eye.

I know someone who had 11 miscarriages between DC 1&2, then DC3 popped along as a surprise.

KeepCalm · 03/01/2019 21:33

3MC and 3 live births. I lost 3 boys and carried 3 girls.

So sorry for your losses Thanks

Therunecaster · 03/01/2019 21:36

There is always hope OP.

tubspreciousthings · 03/01/2019 21:39

I had one full term birth, three first trimester miscarriages, lost twins at 23 weeks, very premature baby who survived due to amazing neonatal care.

I'm sorry Op- miscarriage is so tough. Have you been referred to a recurrent miscarriage clinic or one of Tommy's research centres? They are excellent at trying different things to help prevent future miscarriage.

thedevilsavocado · 03/01/2019 21:39

Sorry for your losses, it can be such a lonely experience. I had 3 miscarriages at 8, 10 and 12 weeks in between my two DC, one of which was a partial molar pregnancy. I had lots of bleeding throughout the first 12 weeks of my pregnancy with DC2, there was an empty sac on one scan so it was a twin pregnancy to start with. It was such a hoŕrible time but worth it all to have DC2, he is 10 now and I still think of him as my miracle baby! Have you been referred for counselling with a baby loss counsellor? I found it really helpful. Take care and I hope things work out well for you.

Neolara · 03/01/2019 21:40

I had 4 mc but 3 babies. My friend had 7 mc followed by 2 babies.

I'm sorry for your losses.

PositiveAttitude · 03/01/2019 21:41

1st DD died at 8 days old, then 4 miscarriage. Followed by 4 healthy children (3 girls 1 boy) and then adopted another girl.

Don't give up!!! Flowers

Seabreeze18 · 03/01/2019 21:44

Do u know what’s wrong? I know someone that had 8mc then had help and by taking a small drug they were able to have 2 kids easily. Do u have thyroid issues?

homemadegin · 03/01/2019 21:44

Married 16 years. Together 20 years. 6 mc, 2 failed rounds of IVF. Told it was unlikely to happen for us. Then Dd arrived 10 weeks ago. A miracle rainbow baby.

Nighttimenope · 03/01/2019 21:49

Not my own, but my dear friend suffered secondary infertility and lost four wee ones. She was tested etc and they found a treatment and she has since delivered a healthy baby boy.
Once whilst I was in hospital for my own pregnancy complications I met a mum who’d had twenty miscarriages between 6-20 weeks gestation. She had an 18 year old daughter at home and had stopped hoping for it.
She was 28 weeks along with a healthy pregnancy when I met her. She was in for a minor scare (which I’m sure was major to her!) but had every hope that this baby was going to stay. She was amazing.
I’m so sorry for your pain Flowers

WeeDoughball · 03/01/2019 21:49

3 missed mc
1 early mc

Then 2 DC. No reasons found despite various tests but combination of progesterone pessaries, clexane injections and acupuncture were in place for the 2 successful pregnancies.

Deliqueen · 03/01/2019 21:50

I had 2 first trimester miscarriages, 1 healthy full term birth, a loss at 23 weeks, another healthy full term birth, then 2 more early miscarriages. A very emotional journey but I then decided to stop and enjoy my 2 beautiful, healthy girls (we wanted 4 children). It's a tough ride and I really hope things work out for you💐 💐

Patchworksack · 03/01/2019 21:50

I had DC1, MC, DC2, then 3 miscarriages. All 4 losses were around 10 weeks. I had NHS recurrent miscarriage investigations which found nothing except that my 4th loss was genetically normal then went to see Prof Quenby in Coventry who diagnosed high uNK cells. My first pregnancy on her treatment of progesterone, heparin, steroids was successful. The clinic has helped so many women on the recurrent miscarriage threads here when they have got fed up of being told 'bad luck'. I hope you find an answer and some help.

toasterstrudle · 03/01/2019 21:51

1 live birth (DS), 1 early miscarriage, 1 mmc picked up at 12 week scan, currently 17 weeks and hoping for the best.

In that order.

AMomHasNoName · 03/01/2019 21:52

I Had my first DD fine. Then had 5 miscarriages .I was referred for testing .I was told to take low dose aspirin ..next pregnancy I did and had a DS. Then another 2 DC .

I'm sorry for your losses.

CherryPavlova · 03/01/2019 21:53

Lost babies at 19, 24 and 29 weeks. My youngest is now a perfect 20 year old.

Verydonut · 03/01/2019 21:55

I have pcos. Conceived both dd quickly and with no issues. Have been trying for number 3 for 18 months. Have had 3 miscarriages. Was referred to hospital and had bloods and scans. No reason for the miscarriages.
The most recent loss in October nearly broke me.
I've just brought an exercise bike and plan to lose a couple of stones, I need to lose 4 but if I aim for 2 it doesn't seem as overwhelming.
I'm sorry for everyone's loses and send hugs to all x

keeponrunning85 · 03/01/2019 21:56

So sorry for your losses OP, and everyone else. The world of recurrent miscarriage really does suck and I had many, many dark days. I hope you have some good support around you.

4 first trimester MCs, then I had surgery to remove a uterine septum. Fell pregnant as soon as we started TTC after my op and rainbow DD was born in August.

I often think of my lost ones, probably more since having DD.

Oopsy41 · 03/01/2019 21:57

I've had 11 miscarriages between 6 and 9 weeks. Had my daughter then was pregnant again by her 1st birthday, now have a 13 year old and an 11 year old

Notquiteagandt · 03/01/2019 23:47
