This is not aibu but I think the thread was in the aibu. Can anyone locate the link to the thread.

I found the OP really positive and interested in their role and wondered if the OP had took any of the feedback from the thread to a higher strategic level. I had an exciting experience at McDonald's today.

I would love to tell the OP.

If you advance search for the words ama and mcdonalds it's literally the fourth result down. (This one is first)

McDs AMA

Ivegotthree · 03/01/2019 19:55

How on earth does one have en exciting experience at McDonalds?

Waddsup12 · 03/01/2019 19:57

Thank you!

I thought I knew how to do links but I'm on my phone & couldn't see the list to check.

wishingchair1 · 03/01/2019 20:03

Thanks all everyone. I tried the search but perhaps put too many words in.

Hope i won't disappoint with my news.

I had asked the manager if there would ever be a vegetarian happy meal.

She regretted that she doubted they would.

I couldn't really see why they couldn't have done a half veggie one, as they come in the adult wrap as two halves anyway, but they are spicy.

If we do go to McDonald's generally me and my partner have a happy meal with the kids. My DH (forgot we got married last month, oops) has fish fingers and i have a burger without the burger.

Today, my dd2 wanted to treat everyone before we went to the cinema. On seating, a window showed a vegetarian happy meal. I ordered one and it was a wrap, with salad and a veggie finger.

It was a revelation and hoped the OP had told the higher level, and now had been promoted to menu chooser.

Lovely to see someone enjoy their job so much.

Promise we don't frequent McDonald's daily but was a very exciting moment, and enjoyed every bite.

GirlFliesHome · 03/01/2019 20:12

Oh! Now I am reading the AMA thread and it is delightful!!

wishingchair1 · 04/01/2019 21:15

Thanks for the link to the thread. My phone doesn't really play ball with this site.

Glad I blew you all over with the news. It's all about the small things in life. Although hasn't made up for the lack of toffee sundaes. Wonder if the OP of the original thread can do some super moves on that one.

Xmas Wink

I did manage to get two veggie burger happy meals by smiling a lot and not giving up! I asked the manager if they could swap the normal burgers for veggie burgers in the happy meal bun, and he did :)

user1471539385 · 04/01/2019 21:40

Your actual official happy veggie meal sounds even better! A veggie victory !
