To hate how the tabloids try to make post baby body a competitive sport

It really annoys me the pressure on women around looking good after giving birth. It's such nonsense and I hate how it's made into some kind of achievement. I'm lucky to be old enough that I didn't feel under the pressure there is now. In my case it took a few years to regain my figure, but then I had dc2 anyway and again it took a few years. I probably ended up a bit slimmer than pre dcs so it really doesn't follow that if you don't lose the weight straight away you never will. Women should take their time and not feel like they have to compare themselves to anyone else. Having a baby is the achievement imo, and that's what should be celebrated. Yet another way to get at women.

I agree. It never used to be a thing. I'm lucky that it wasn't really a thing when I was pregnant in the 90s. I feel for new mums nowadays with the pressure.
