To think a car running on white wine is a bit “let them eat cake”?

Every time I hear of Charles’ “eco friendly” white wine fuelled car I get a bit annoyed. Surely that’s incredibly expensive? Great, it’s better for the environment but come on, wine?! Why not cooking oil, electricity or something?

And please don’t tell me how wonderful Prince Charles is for being eco friendly. It’s easy to be green when you have that much money.

The Royal Train runs on cooking oil. :) And the wine is I think wine industry production surplus, not chateauneuf du pape.

Yeah, I know. From what I’ve read, it’s not technically wine. And it does have petrol in it - apparently it’s not as eco friendly as Charles would like to think by the looks or it.

Like he really cares, that’s purely for good PR which, let’s face it, he is in dire need of. He doesn’t care about the environment anymore than climate change deniers.

Charles for president 😂

Are they royal trains not notoriously expensive to run?

Madv · 02/01/2019 22:39

‘Royal sources said the train was often the best option for safety, security and for allowing the Queen to arrive rested ready to carry out engagements.’

I just can’t get onboard with that.

Grin onboard

He’s gone off the rails a bit, hasn’t he?

They should conduct themselves better.
