Last night me and dh watched Letterkenny, (Canadian sitcom) and my iPhone was beside me on the couch. 1 episode was about how to bbq expensive Canadian steak and the other episode was about a fishing trip to Quebec. We just watched and didn't discuss either topic as, well, not much to discuss really. This morning I have ads for both prime Canadian steak for sale and explore Quebec trips. To not drip feed, I live in Canada, but I am 100% sure I haven't talked to anyone about steak or a trip to Quebec
I'm aware this happens on Facebook and know it's a google thing, but aibu to be surprised that "they" are listening to tv programs now and making ad suggestions based on what's overheard and feeling this is over the top stalkerish?
