OH and cold

I get he has a nasty cold, but he can moan for England. Every time he coughs or knows his nose you'd think he is on the verge of needing ICU. And I definitely don't need a detailed description of his snot just as I'm about to eat. As for moaning that he hasn't slept a wink all night when, after over an hour of trying to get him to roll over as he was snoring loudly in my ear, I ended up moving into the spare room. Now moaning that I'm not sympathetic. Who is after 3 hours sleep?

I have the same issue. We both have the cold...I take the relevant pills and get on with my day, whilst he refuses to take pills and shuffles round sniffling and doing a loud cough with his tongue out and clutching his stomach. Drives me nuts.

If you can moan about it consistently you ain't that ill.

My OH is wonderful, most of the time, but when he is ill don't I know it! Luckily we have a good enough relationship for me to be able to tell him straight that I don't need a constant update on his condition and the more he goes on about it the less sympathy he will get. So that means now that it be tells me he feels unwell I am more likely to take notice of it. He is learning.....

If he, of course, not it be!
