Personally, I have never managed to stick to a new years resolution.

Have you? What was it and how did it change things for you?

Yes, it's a random one!

I decided to stop crossing my legs as I read it causes/makes varicose veins worse. I'd started to get a dodgy looking one on my calf, anyway after 4 years of sticking to it it's hardly noticeable Grin

Yes, I downloaded an app to read the bible daily and today I finished reading the bible in a year. Now I just need to up my exercise in the same way

Yes, having resolved for donkeys years to lose weight and get fitter I finally did it two years ago and have stuck at it.
No idea why it finally clicked but I am bloody determined not to go back.

I usually make multiple resolutions, so that when I only end up sticking to one it still feels like a success Grin

Two or so years ago I decided to start making sure I made my bed and loaded the dishwasher every morning before going to work. Definitely makes home feel more relaxing when I come back and it isn't all a mess.

For various reasons one of my resolutions last year was to go on a date before February. I managed it on 4th January! Also I wanted to get more exercise and I have done that but it took until November so not sure that counts!

2017 I quit smoking
2018 I lost 3.5 stone (put 4lb back on this month!)
2019 I will get back to my career and lose 0.5 stone

Yes, getting a haircut every 6-8 weeks in 2018. Turns out the key is making the next appointment when you pay and having a lovely hairdresser.
