Snoring vs background noise... anyone else?

The sound of my DP snoring literally makes me toes curl and I can’t get to sleep if he’s snoring.

Yet any other noise, film, tv, music, rain I can fall asleep no bother. My DP says it’s weird like I choose to be annoyed by his snoring when actually I’m capable of sleeping and getting to sleep despite noise.

Anyone else like this?

Snoring can be a sign of serious health issues like obstructive sleep apnoea. Your DP should see their GP.

I’m currently awake because I can’t sleep due to DH snoring and twitching. He woke me about an hour ago because he spasmed in his sleep and landed on me, then snored and twitched until I got up in exasperation and now I’m downstairs.
He was been to GP several times - they say lose weight and cut down caffeine and alcohol. He isn’t prepared to do this so he will snore forever.

The white noise didn't work. I could still hear the snoring - even with the volume too loud. 😩
