Why are there so many threads about class in Active at the moment? AIBU to be suspicious?

I'm thinking someone is trawling the site for research purposes? For a book or article or op-ed piece?

Or is everyone else satisfied that it's just a coincidence?

There is a third possibility - people see a thread about a subject, read it, and it prompts a question in their mind about the same topic so they start their own thread. Or option 4, trolls see that this is a good way to get people frothing so they leap on the bandwagon. Or a combination of all 4.

It is funny at the time of goodwill etc people are pummeling each other re what class they favour/consider themselves from etc. It's sad

I haven't even looked at any of the threads as I don't find the subject interesting. It's just that there were 3 of them in Active at the same time. Only the "when are you taking your Christmas decorations down?" threads outnumbered them yesterday
