Please someone tell me if this is normal! since my neighbours moved in a couple of years ago its been constant diy. Im talking around twice a week. Just constant hammering. even on christmas day! he is at it again today. Is this normal?! Aibu to get annoyed.

Twice a week is not constant. Have you chatted with them about the work they're doing? Are they doing it when they get time off work?

My mums neighbours have been doing constant DIY for over 20 years. I'm not even exaggerating. We're convinced he's got bodies in the floorboards. So yeah, not normal.

That sounds to me like someone is gradually doing their house up and have taken on a project.

Doing some DIY twice a week is fairly normal if you're doing A house up.
