What books are you reading over holidays? (I've a voucher to use)

I'll be going to book shop tomorrow. Any advice based on your Christmas reading?

I'm currently/recently reading

• Keeper (Graham Norton)
• Faking It: The Lies Women Tell about Sex (Alptraum)
• We were the lucky ones (Georgia Hunter)

All very different, and very enjoyable.

Need to have some books to bring along on the visit to the in-laws for new year [yawn]

you might enjoy the new edition of 'the gulag archipelago'

Just finished The Girl Before, couldn't recommend it. Thought the writing was quite poor. Have just started The Essex Serpent which so far is very good.
