Had low (non existent) sex drive for just over 2 months now.
It feels silly to go to GP about this.
AIBU to go?

Of course you should go!

JustBeenNosey · 26/12/2018 20:47

I've had a low sex drive for the majority of this year. I suffer with depression and I'm on medication. They say it's to do with that..

Do you suffer with depression/anxiety or anything?

AGHHHH · 26/12/2018 20:47

It's not silly at all.

candlefloozy · 26/12/2018 20:48

I'm the same. I think it's the coil. Thinking of getting it removed to see what happens..

utin · 26/12/2018 20:48

Just feels like there's a lot more serious problems and this is a bit menial IYSWIM.

@JustBeenNosey I was diagnosed with both years ago - don't take any medication for them currently though and didn't realise that could be why if it's never been an issue before!

Yeah that is strange. They said to me it's one of the first things that go and one of the last to come back so they can't really do anything for it 🤷🏼‍♀️

Ozziewozzie · 26/12/2018 20:50

Definately go. It could be down to something really obvious, ie, just too much on in life, run down, hormones, stress or simply nothing at all other than a phase. But if you’re worried I’d chat it through.

utin · 26/12/2018 20:59

Think I'm going to go this week, I've been putting it off for a while as it just seems a bit embarrassing! Not too sure on what to say or what will be asked etc.

Does anyone know what steps they could take from here?

It's just one of those things comes and goes

Groovee · 26/12/2018 21:34

I lost mine on the mini pill. Came off it months later and within 4 days had it back.
