So Mrs H has just announced she’s pregnant with her first child (congrats to her) but does anyone else think she’s going to have to learn to relax her cleaning quite a lot once the baby arrives? Obviously she has quite high expectations regarding how clean/tidy her home is, but to do everything she does everyday once a Child arrives, it’s not really realistic is it?

I'm waiting for the baby freebies to come flooding in!
Just to clarify I am in no way saying she's having a baby for the freebies 🙄😂.
I know a lot of people who manage to keep a spotless house with multiple children, I am not one of them sadly.

MsSquiz · 27/12/2018 09:51

She has said herself she is looking forward to how things will change for her in terms of her "hinching" and having a new baby...

MauraIsles · 27/12/2018 09:58

@Southernmama oh she’s definitely going to be inundated with freebies, looking at Facebook comments yesterday there are small businesses trying to get in touch with her already! I don’t know many people who have multiple kids who manage to keep their house looking perfect, I definitely relaxed my expectations when my little one was tiny, I was more interested in doing things with him than doing the pots 🙈 but it gets easier as they get older!

@MsSquiz it’s going to be interesting to see how the dynamic of her account changes - whether she stays with the ‘hinching’ or she becomes more of a parenting ‘vlogger’!

I was getting to the point that I couldn’t stand the repetitive insta stories but I can imagine all the baby product promos will come in thick and fast.
Unfollowing

jamdonutt · 27/12/2018 10:04

she will have to stop filling her home of all those chemicals

MsSquiz · 27/12/2018 10:04

@MauraIsles I'd imagine it will be a natural progression into more baby related posts.

With lifestyle blogging, I would presume your posts are led by what is a main focus on your life.

MsSquiz · 27/12/2018 10:05

@jamdonutt she uses no more chemicals than my BIL does when cleaning their house and they have 3 children...

lastqueenofscotland · 27/12/2018 10:07

I don’t think she uses that many chemicals in her home tbh. No more than other cleaning products I know other people use. I question how prominent a role the dog will still play

LanaLily11 · 27/12/2018 10:07

I was on maternity leave at the height of the Mrs Hinch craze and loved her to bits and spent all time cleaning - now baby has arrived I can’t stand her and can’t see how she will have the time to keep up her cleaning techniques

Tutlefru · 27/12/2018 10:09

Congratulations to them.

People can have children and have clean houses. A lot easier with just 1 child as well. Grin

We have cleaning chemicals in our house and have children as long as they’re kept out of reach (which I’m sure MrsHinch isn’t dumb so she’ll know anyway) then there isn’t a problem really is there?

Good luck to them.

Sausagefingers9 · 27/12/2018 10:09

No wonder she talks about having anxiety with people talking about her every move!

If you don’t like her then don’t follow.

DonDrapersOldFashioned · 27/12/2018 10:09

It’s a bit of a gift for her isn’t it? I’ve noticed a lot on these threads that people are saying that they are getting bored with repetitive content. I agree that that she will become a mummyvlogger instead. I wouldn’t bank on her binning the chemical overkill (dryer sheets in furniture) though. She doesn’t seem all that clued up on the risks.

MsSquiz · 27/12/2018 10:19

@DonDrapersOldFashioned what is exactly are the risks of putting dryer sheets inside pillowcases (for example) in a house with 2 adults and a dog?

DonDrapersOldFashioned · 27/12/2018 10:23

Endocrine disruptors. Skin irritations. Respiratory irritations

iusedtobecool · 27/12/2018 10:25

I’m guessing Henry will have to move out of his nice doggy room at some point soon!

LutherRalph1 · 27/12/2018 10:34

@iusedtobecool she's said he won't have to and she has some exciting plans, so possibly extending / moving?

JudasPrudy · 27/12/2018 10:35

She should stop mixing zoflora with bleach etc before anything else.

DonDrapersOldFashioned · 27/12/2018 10:37

Oh yes, the mixing of chemicals Shock. Terrifying. Poison gases, anyone?

MsSquiz · 27/12/2018 10:41

They are extending their house prior to the baby's arrival so Henry will still have his bedroom

iusedtobecool · 27/12/2018 11:36

Oh that’s good! I didn’t see that bit.

MauraIsles · 27/12/2018 16:25

I admit I don’t really watch her stories anymore, I like her but I don’t feel the need to religiously check her feed all the time - it does feel a bit repetitive now. I’ve seen that people are a bit fed up of the constant ads - but it’s part and parcel of being popular on SM now isn’t it? So many people do paid posts, ads etc!
