Merry Christmas mumsnet! You are all brilliant. Especially whoever got into a fight with their DH over Santa wrapping paper and made me realise we had put a gift tag with our names on it on the big Father Christmas present and put it under the tree rather than hiding it, I hope you sorted it but also you’re a life saver.

DS helped with food prep then took me out for lunch
DD and her DP arrived mid afternoon and made me lovely cocktails
Had a special Xmas eve meal feast - more drinks and played lots of games

This afternoon, I had all five of my children in the same room, for the first time in over three years, and I got a photo to prove it!
It's only the second picture I have with them all together, so that was my happy Christmas right there!
