To think of you go on about needing to blitz the house you should actually contribute to it, a little rant & I don’t care if I’m bu!

Dh has been going on for at least the last week about blitzing the house, very much “we’re going to do it today yeah” on repeat. Now at 23/12 & he’s done the sum total of 1 load & unload the dishwasher, 1 unloading of the tumble drier & bathed the baby x1. We both work, have 2ds & I’ve done the bulk so far with a long list of things still to do while he’s sat on his arse watching reruns ffs!

I have told him btw, he’ll shift eventually after much nagging from me but I’d cheerfully punch him about now!

Better for getting that off my chest, back to it

You are definitely not being unreasonable. I asked my dp to clean a sink recently when was trying to blitz house. He recleaned the one i’d already done then went back to x box.

Oh YANBU- this sounds very similar to my DH. He keeps muttering about 'the state of this place' and how he is going to do a 'deep clean'- and every weekend he's to tired. It wouldn't be so annoying if I didn't tidy up after him all the time and try my best to keep the house looking nice anyway!
