Feeling a bit paniky!

I've just swapped presents with my family, -and taken a peak at a few- and it's obvious they have spent A LOT more on me than I have on them. They've given my partner about 4 presents, whereas we only gave them a couple of gifts between us!

I feel embarrassed and like I need to buy more. This is what I hate about Christmas, I'd rather just not do gifts at all.

You have gave them presents it doesnt matter that you havent gifted as much as others. Its the thought that counts. You dont need to give anything else

Resist! You’ve got nice things. You don’t need more.

It is not a competition. You do not need to buy more than you have already.

Don't worry about it. Its not a competition, and values don't have to be equal! Would you have cared if they'd got you less than you'd got them?

It's a gift. Not a transaction. It's the thought that counts and all that
