Best key lime pie

Help. I've never made a key lime pie.. really want to make one for Boxing Day.
What's the best, tastiest, but easy (no fail, hopefully) recipe!

Ryan's from the Bake Off seconded. I've tried loads of recipes as it's a family favourite and that ones the best.

I make one with no baking. Its really zesty and creamy.
Juice of 8 limes
500ml double cream
1 tin condensed milk.

Make your base with crushed biscuits and butter. Whisk the cream and condensed milk together and then add in the juice and some zest. Keep whisking and the mixture will thicken nicely. Bung it on the base and into the fridge and bobs your uncle.
I just love how fresh this one tastes and its a bit easier (prob a bit of a cheaters one).
The hardest bit is juicing 8 limes, after doing it with a teaspoon the first dreadful time i treated myself to a little wooden hand juicer. Your hands smell of lime juice for days!!

For the base use crushed ginger nut biscuits-goes a treat with the lime!

And if your Christmas cupboard includes any stem ginger it can be added to add to the ginger hit.

No, trust me on this one... the best base is crushed chocolate bourbons and then top the pie with shaved chocolate... this is a revelation
