To hate DIY/Make Your Own/Experiment gifts?

Weve had Bath Bomb making, Slime making, Smelly Experiment making etc. They are all shite. Lengthy, messy, never turn out right.

All bought with good intentions, but all actual hell on earth. Dc would be happy with slime at 2 quid a tub. Keeps them quiet for ages at the table. Making their own slime on the other hand. Awful.

Anyone else?

Totally! So many seem to go the way of get all the bits out, do the first couple is stages, which are longer and more boring than the picture on the front promises, get bored, put away, find sink months later with some very questionable substances in pots, throw away!! I find Lego sets and hamma beads are the only things they have the patience to see through to the end!
