23rd December and the tree still isn't up 
I've been really ill with a horrible cold for 2 weeks which has knocked the life out of me. DP has been working night shifts and spend most of the day sleeping. So the tree hasn't gone up.
I wanted to do it today but he's insisting that we need to clean first. But as it's the middle of the night I thought we could put the tree up and clean around it tomorrow.
Anyway the reason I'm so annoyed is because I've got gifts hidden all around the house that I was really hoping to just shove under the tree. Where am I supposed to put them if not under a Christmas tree? I've never not had a tree before. I'm sick of having a heart attack any time DP goes near a hiding place.
