Ordered one of these machines, and it's only gone and bloody bruised my chin area from too much suction, plus a line of bruise down my cheek!!
Works do tomorrow, pray its gone!! Plus side- my blackheads have been reduced

My teenage Daughter has one of these machines, phenomenal piece of equipment. I asked her to do me a deep clean as a treat, omg the tears of sensitivity were pouring down my cheeks as she suction cleaned, it took me 3 days to recover facially, but boy my skin felt amazing. I did have a few small bruises around the chin area, but they disappeared after a few hours, great product for cleaning the skin folks.

ButDoYouAvocado · 21/12/2018 22:14

Oh now I really fancy one of these.

ButDoYouAvocado · 21/12/2018 22:17

Whuch one have you got @BumbleBeee69 ?

BumbleBeee69 · 21/12/2018 22:19

Have a look at the reviews on Amazon, I got my Daughters one on there for her, I can’t recall the exact one but she loves it. She has quite oily skin so this really helps keep her skin healthy and clear, without having to use lots of varying products. She likes it because it’s simple to use too.

HelloKittyHannah · 21/12/2018 22:20

Whatever you do, don't use it on the sides of your nose. I used one as a teenager and still have the broken blood vessels to prove it :(

ButDoYouAvocado · 21/12/2018 22:20

My 12 year old son has problems with his. Hes a nightmare as far as any sort of grooming routine goes so i think this might be the answer!

BumbleBeee69 · 21/12/2018 22:21

We’re not at home in UK right now we’re in the States for Christmas, I just asked her, she can’t remember either, it wasn’t expensive though, maybe £40.

BumbleBeee69 · 21/12/2018 22:25

Yes I totally sympathise, it’s a terrible thing for teenagers to endure, my Daughter still has the occasional outbreak but she feels more confident in that she knows her skin is clean and breathing as best it can. A lot of creams and gels have side effects which bothered her, so this was a great find.

BumbleBeee69 · 21/12/2018 22:26

I’ll go look on Amazon, I’ll likely recognise it.

InsomniacAnonymous · 21/12/2018 22:27

Want one.

seven201 · 21/12/2018 22:29

I want too!

InsomniacAnonymous · 21/12/2018 22:34

OK, I had a quick Google and first found an item on Amazon with reviews complaining (with photos) of bruising. Then I found this video

which clearly shows the amount of suction involved and you can see why it causes damage.

I don't think I want one after all.

Thatsalotofblood · 21/12/2018 22:37

My skin does feel amazing though, comes with an exfoliation tool

I can't hear what she's saying in that vid but on amazon it says you shouldn't stay still for more than 2 seconds. I still want one!

BumbleBeee69 · 21/12/2018 22:44

This is the one, it’s only £25, the suction is decided by the user, so it doesn’t have to be so extreme that it bruises. As I say it’s a product that has really helped me Daughter, and she’s happy to have found it.

Ordered! I think the key is to just not overdo it.

BumbleBeee69 · 21/12/2018 22:48

It’s obviously not going to be for everyone, but it’s a good change from creams gels and medications for my teenage Daughter. Flowers
